As many gamers or internet users will know, SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) is a government act that shuts down all internet advertisements, online money transfer sites (like Paypal), or anything without copyright or websites that take IP addresses. This is to stop online piracy and protect people's IP address. Thought the government are trying to keep people from getting hacked, they're also blocking sites that people go to EVERY SINGLE DAY. Almost everyone goes against this act and hopefully, the White House too. The Internet's main websites (Youtube, Google, and alot more) make up about 5-10% of the world's economy. A lot of jobs are created through the Internet. If the government shuts down these websites, then people will not use the Internet AND a lot of jobs will be destroyed. I don't know too much of this act, but I know enough to protest against it.
